Provide a clear pathway for the progression of players who are exceeding the expected standard of a ATC player.Encourage players to improve as footballers through many football experiences as well as inspiring all players to be active, healthy and ambitious.Develop each player as both a talented footballer but also as a young individual through social skills, confidence and attitude.Players train and perform both as individuals and compete as an age group squad against other professional teams. High quality professional technical coaching sessions to support the development of each player from Ipswich Town Coaching Staff.Provide a safe, fun and challenging environment for every player.The syllabus is made up of blocks of In Possession, Out of Possession and Transition themed sessions.Ĭore aims of the Advanced Training Centre are as follows: The training syllabus used for the ATC uses parts of the ACC and ITFC women format to suit the needs of our players, with an aim to create an ITFC female DNA across all tiers. The sessions are designed to include a variety of individual and team training focuses developed to support each player. The Girls ATC training season is made up of 30 weeks 1 hour training sessions. This leads to Regional Finals in May and National Finals in June where England Talent ID Coaches will be in attendance. Ipswich Town ATC are part of a new 12 team Girls Elite Development Programme league with festivals held every half term. The Girls ATC has limited places with small squads at each age group of between 14-16 players. ![]() Players within the ATC aged from U9 to U16 have the chance to receive quality technical coaching sessions at the state of art facility at Needham Market Football Club. It is an invitation only programme where players who have been identified as being talented and gifted footballers are invited to train on a weekly basis with Ipswich Town Football Club.
